SAMUELCHANG   It has been long time since last Up-Date, But still GREAT!

You are required some 'Fine Setting' for each stream. After that you can enjoy Auto Drive forever.

It makes small folder after transporting to iTunes, and use little bit memory. (MacBookPro3,1/2.4GHz/4GB/OSX10.5.7 On my Mac, It use nearly 600MB! after non-stop running 24hs)

Still I'm looking there Developper's improve. (Especially this Memory Eater!)

REZA666  I have used streamripper and was very pleased with it even though there are a few crashes now and then.

Was looking for a similar program when i found this program which is a streamripper in a new shape so to say.

I tested it for 20 min or so and decided to buy it since the price is reasonable.

I have now used it for a few dats now and been streaming and playing with the program without any crash and must say this is much better then the streamripper for winamp. More stable, better options and looks great.

I really can recommend it.

Only thing i miss in the options is the "incomplete" folder can not be change. It will create it in every folder which is a bit unnecessary.

ANONYMOUS  Hot damn. I was looking for a way to podcast Soma.FM's great stations to listen to on the road... this little app is going to help me accomplish just that.

The default settings are a bit off... fix them and be prepared to enjoy commercial-free radio.

Don't forget to support the stations! Donate!

JULIEN LETESSIER  This program is a shameless (and illegal) attempt at making money from free software.

It uses the codebase from StreamRipper, an open-source GPL application.

Besides, the program's ergonomy, or lack thereof, makes it a pain to use. The user interface complies with no standard and has a lot of bugs (e.g. you can't save in the "profiles" dialog, which is BTW not accessible from the menubar).

Nevertheless, it does offer the features present in StreamRipper, only in a more limited fashion (because of the limited UI).

It doesn't crash but generally streams just don't start... iTunes integration isn't always *the* way to go!

ANONYMOUS  AFAIK, it's also written by StreamRipper's author.

ANONYMOUS  StreamRipperX is/was a Mac OS X version of StreamRipper (a Unix program) by another author and this StreamRipper is GPL licensed. StreamRipperX uses also another GPL-licensed piece of software (MAD, a MPEG audio decoder).

Which means that if Radiolover is similar enough to StreamRipperX that it still uses Streamripper and MAD under the hood, selling Radiolover as shareware would be plainly illegal.

ANONYMOUS  StreamRipperX was writting by this guy, but he had to change the name to RadioLover for some reason or another.

StreamRipperX is still free, go use it and stop complaining.

And try doing a little research before you complain.

GLEN  Except no one researched what the GPL actually means when it refers to "free software". Here's a quote from the preamble to the GNU General Public License, straight from their webpage:

"When we speak of free software, we are referring to freedom, not price. Our General Public Licenses are designed to make sure that you have the freedom to distribute copies of free software (and charge for this service if you wish), that you receive source code or can get it if you want it, that you can change the software or use pieces of it in new free programs; and that you know you can do these things."

FUNNELLPD  I’ve been using RadioLover for 3 months with no problems. Does what I need and is updated often. Good response to bugs — a crash bug I reported was fixed in the next revision. I’ve asked the developer to add reordering of items in a recording schedule and to add control over folder and file naming per schedule item. No response yet, but here’s hoping…

ROBYN KANE  Just bought this program via Kagi then. Extremely good. Easy-to-use interface, loads of features, plus it can record m3u streams which are becoming more popular these days. Keep up the good work developer! Definately worth $15 USD

ANONYMOUS  Isn't StreamRipper, the program from which this was derived, free? How can this one be a $15 shareware app?

HUGH  Works well. I had to fiddle a little with the controls, but once I understood it, I had a wonderful mp3 recorder, that allowed me to schedule recording when I was out. Additionally, I was able to combine it with ResurrXtion to create a digital radio "vcr". ResurrXtion wakes from sleep, or boots up at scheduled time, RadioLover records at scheduled times. Mp3's are deposited on my desktop already separated and labeled. Wonderful.

CHRISTOPHER GARDNER  Excellent software! Very easy to use. I have just started using RadioLover after having used StreamRipperX for almost a year. This new software is much more powerful! I love the way I can record a couple of streams at the same time. There are also loads of options to adjust the recordings. Like others, I can't wait for RealAudio support - then, this software would be pretty much perfect.

ANONYMOUS  A disaster. I spent hours trying to get it to do anything that it promised to do without snafus and never was able to. You need itunes open all of the time and it only plays back on itunes. The scheduler never worked. The song splitter will only work if you know the exact length of the music (right, who knows that when listening to radio?). It is also ugly. You need to import station by station if your stations are in different folders. Nothing but a buggy program.

DAMNDJ  One of the better stream rippers I have found. The features of the program are excellent, and it's especially nice how it splits the tracks up whenever the track on the other end changes.

I paid the $15 so I could specifically record Sensation that's happening tonight in Amsterdam. :) I hope this little program doesn't let me down!

DRIVERDAN  Great product, a fun way to fill up an iPod and learn about new artists. Smooth, stable, intuitive. The timer function is very useful.

Couple of quirks, since it is at v.1, like I can click to hear stations that I'm recording, but I can't seem to turn the sound off and keep recording.
