DAMACGUY This app is great. I found it before iTunes 4 and it's support for Artwork ID3 tags. Just select it as your visualization of choice and let 'er rip. Much better than some 3rd party album cover apps. Who needs one more little program running just for your MP3s. The instructions are a bit confusing, but the developer's English is infinitly better than my Japanese. Here's a brief run down... It will automatically display artwork, as long as it's a unique artists and album name, and it's a popular artist. It won't download the artwork I believe, so it will also only work like this if you have an internet connection. You can manually search for artwork by clicking on the artist's name or album name during the visualization and it will automatically take you to Amazon and do a search based on whichever item you clicked on. When you eventually find the right artwork drag it onto the artist's name in the visualization and the image will be downloaded to the artist's folder in your iTunes library and renamed to the artist's name dot image type. Drag it to the artwork to the album's name in the visualization and the artwork will be downloaded to the album folder in the artist's folder and renamed to match the album's name. If you want to find the folder the current song is in you can cmd-click in the visualization and it will open that location for you. One cool feature in the visualization is the diaply of track info. Align the text left, right, or center and pick your font and size. And now, to make it even better, if there is no target image file found Jacket will use any Artwork found in that song's ID3 tag. I totally love this! Yosemite ROCKS! :-D (Version 0.3.2) |
