RICHARD WILKES Mac OS X Users - NOTE: The current Java 5 package that Apple is offering for download to non-developers has some bugs in it related to displaying certain types of graphics. This results in swapping of the red and blue channels in the image, giving very odd colored images. In addition, this release also seems to have problems with transparency, so some graphics overlap where they shouldn't. All of these problems have been fixed in the version Apple makes available to developers - however, I don't know when they plan on releasing that version... soon, with any luck. In the meantime, the product functions fine, but may look a bit odd (especially the splash screen).
