TONY ROSE  2get has been a lifesaver for me. Xnap was slooooow, even on my 867 G4, and also buggy as hell.

With 2get I am able to easily connect to private OpenNAP networks and share/download files. It works exactly the way it should.

It has its quirks, and is still missing some things WinMX has, but it gets better each release.

ALI HELLO BABA  According to my 3-years experience with P2P software, I can say that both Limewire and this program suck. XNap is the best I have tried so far, but it takes time to get used to plus you really have to share if you want your downloads to start. Acqlite is a good program I recommend for newbies.

WHTKNIGHT  Honetly the only real P2P that I have found that really works is mlMac. It is still in beta but its pretty sweet and definetly a great alternative to most of the other crap thats out there. Definetly worth looking at I give it a 5 star rating for being good in beta stages. The best way to describe it, at least in my uses of it, is its a lot like the beta builds of safari....

ANONYMOUS  I got completely fed up with the mediocre and extreme "Java-ness" of XNap and went so far as to fill my HD with lots of Fink-related nonsense only so I could use the UNIX-based application Lopster which is still considered "unstable". After being thrown around the wringer with Fink being the admirable attempt at good software that it is, I finally gave up. And tried this App. It's far from perfect, but the features all work for me, and it's the "best" OpenNap software for MacOS X. What a sad state of affairs.

UI needs some work.

And bug fixes (As some people seem unable to use basic features, could be user incompetence, but considering my experiences with the bugs it's more bugs than user-error).

Solid release, and particularly impressive considering it's REALBasic. Shaddup fanboys. I don't care what it's programmed in so long as it works well.

LOUIE A.  The only reason why the program doesnt work for most people is because they are not sharing files. Most servers refuse leechers, and if you only get acess to about 3 servers, this is your problem. Either you arent sharing or you need to share more, some have limits of, for example, a minimum of 1GB that you have to share.

It returns more search results than limewire, and it has a better interface too. When you start 2get, the control panel is tiny. I like it! Everything is 'off', so you must turn everything 'on' to make 2get work. Once you do, a search turned up hundreds of results [where L*m*w*r* produced zero].
