L008COM  Waste of time. Serial number given doesn't work. They are still hosting the software, why don't they just put out a new version that doesn't require a serial? Makes no sense. Plus the program is messed up anyway. It likes to beach ball for minutes at a time. And another neat feature is that it likes to cause hundreds of system beeps while it's running. It also went from an acceptable speed to a server-killing speed once it revived from its beach ball episode. Not worth the hassle, do not use this program.

MLANGER  Very disappointing. I ran the software in Try It mode and waited over 30 minutes for it to check links. The final report said that the bad link was hidden until I register. What a waste of time! The software is no longer available for sale (per the note on this site) but the posted serial number doesn't work. Don't waste your time with this one.

ANONYMOUS  I bought this software and it works okay - not fantastic but when I bought a new computer and tried to move it over, the registration code no longer worked. I emailed the makers of the software and was ignored. You have to pay $20 to get a new registration code each time you install. I'm looking into buying something else. VERY DIAPPOINTED!

ANONYMOUS  What rubbish! I checked a site locally where I know at least 26 links are broken (I havent made the pages yet) and it came up with only the last broken link on the page! What use is that?

JOHN  I find that Link Checker works pretty good. It is quite fast when the connection count is at 25 and the report format is (now) acceptable. I have a several thousand link site and it helped me find some broken links easily.

DAVIDCRICKETT  Didn't work the last time I tried it, doesn't work now - or it is taking taking so long time as to render it worthless. That is, you can't tell what it is doing, you only watch the endless spinning barberpole at the bottom of the window.
