Typinator

Typinator does just what it says it does - turns keyboard shortcuts into phrases. I have used it on several Macs since 2005 and consider it an essential app. It's been consistently rock-solid and easy to use.

Typinator does make you buy a separate license for each computer. For me, the benefit of using Typinator is worth it. To the reviewer who called this greedy, please keep in mind that the developer keeps Typinator up-to-date and dependable and has done so for years. That's worth paying for.

Highly recommended.
