For a long time, I used to jump back and forth between 7zX, eZ7z, and the like until I stumbled upon CleanArchiver. Then CleanArchiver started having troubles with Stability. Out of curiosity and checked the suggested alternatives link and saw Keka. Downloaded it, and haven't stopped using it since. It works excellently, it has a small footprint, it is fast, the UI is clean and no nonsense, and it handles all of my preferred formats.
I must say thanks to the developer for such a great piece of freeware.
Good to see such a great utility, being freeware an awesome bonus, continue to update. It is the second thing I install after a fresh OS install. Many thanks to the Developer, for giving us this great tool.
Flash is great, if it works. Most of the time you come up to an ad or an actual interactive file, it will pop up with a warning telling you that something or other didn't load. It will offer two options 'Dismiss All' or 'Continue' and reguardless crash and take Safari out with it. Beyond useless to me. Switched back to Flash 9. Flash 10 is seriously broken, and it is amazing that Adobe hasn't done something to fix this yet.
My primary complaint is it doesn't adhere to what you set the default save directory. I drop in two or three torrents, some are where they should be, others pop up in the old directory. Quite annoying if you have one save spot on your start up drive.
Prior to the update I had had a lot of problems with Safari's stability and some issues with not being able to force quit properly out of hung applications. Now it is smooth sailing and I haven't had an issue yet. I left Safari up and running overnight with 364 tabs (opened every bookmark I had in the menu) and this morning it was still up and going and smooth. Haven't had that in a long time.
Even my two 1TB external LaCies are staying connected properly, and haven't had a random silently disconnect.
Up until recently I had been a very happy Quicksilver user. But, after updating to this latest version everything is borked. Quicksilver will no longer run for more than two seconds straight without crashing. I've deleted all the associated files and tried reinstalling to no avail. I tried going back to the old ß54 I'm very disappointed, not at the developers but at how this situation is turning out for me. Quicksilver has become an indispensable part of my routine, and this has really slowed me down.
I hope this can be fixed quickly.

Anyway, it loads now but doesn't function properly. Seems that we are at the mercy of Apple/ATI for a while longer.
