Absolutely loved this program when I first got it -- made my workday all-around easier. Happily paid the shareware fee.
I'd give it five stars under Tiger and zero under Leopard. It just won't work under Leopard (currently running 10.5.3 as I write this).
What's worse, no updates to the program seem to be forthcoming (the last update was January 2007), and no updates of the company website since around that time. Even their blog is a single entry that just says "TEST" on January 2, 2007.
Superb! Have been looking for a way to put the date in full view on my menubar, and this does the trick. I can even put the date in weird formats that I use for timesheets (like 2006.02.15 or 060215 for February 15, 2006). Excellent! If I had any suggestion at all, it'd be the ability to move it. I can't seem to use the "command" key move to reposition it, but I have that trouble with all non-Apple menubar applets (menulets?).
Would love to get this, but every time I click on the link I get a 509 Bandwidth Exceeded warning. If you're the author, post your contact info so someone can drop you a line about hosting the file.
Was finally able to download and use -- absolutely brilliant. Sure, I could do most of this via command line or other such animal, but having it all in one place is terrific. I've only used it for a few days but it's a timesaver.
Here's hoping the download link stays live so more can try it out.
Excellent little program. I have a few accounts that I check and wanted something transparent (as in how it works, not appearance) and elegant to distinguish what mailbox had what messages. This fits the bill quite perfectly. Great example of a "does what it does and does it great" app.
FWIW, since upgrading to Leopard (and specifically 10.5.2, which is where I'm starting with Leopard), I've encountered several kernel panics when using Moneydance. Have sent them an email about it, but thought I'd mention it here.

Oh, well. I'll keep looking for a replacement.
