This app is still a way more comfortable and user-friendly mac experience than OpenOffice or LibreOffice, which is why I'll carry on using it. I keep trying the others out to see how they're getting along, but they keep letting me down, especially on font rendering.
What I miss most from WindowShade (since Lion made it stop working) is the click-to-hide option for the minimise button. I'm still doing this automatically, and then having to retrieve the app from the dock again! Does anyone know an app that allows the same configuration? I can live without the other things WS does, but this is a hard habit to kick.
This app is the business - especially the ability to tune how sensitive the Magic Mouse is to touch. I was trying other apps that kept firing off mouseclicks if I came to within 50 feet of the mouse :(.
This would be a great replacement for the (sadly discontinued) MagicMouse app, if it were possible to tune down the sensitivity of the touch-area on the mouse. It's driving me nuts how easy it is to accidentally tap-click when this action is enabled (something MagicMouse got right). Is there any way to turn this down?
Liking very much the added little overlay in the bottom-left corner with b11 - showing what domain is being connected to. I don't miss the status bar so much now!
Just a regular reminder - to find the latest Release Candidate (as opposed to an earlier stable) version of OpenOffice in your language (as opposed to just US English), visit this page:
...or see this page if the English you want isn't American ;) (or for most of the other complete language versions:

Important!! When installing v1.3 from the App Store, do NOT follow the instructions to run their deinstallation script for older versions (like 1.2.2) - until they fix the bug in their script, running this script will delete v1.3, and there will be no record in the App Store that you ever bought it.
Should be fixed soon.
Aye, it turns out that although the App Store says you have to buy it again, once you try to, it acknowledges you already have, and lets you re-download the app.
Since installing 2.3.2 I can't save items in shortcuts (for example Switch to Firefox Application) - nothing happens when I click on the OK button, and I can't escape from the panel, and have to Force Quit the app - switched back to 2.3.1 for the moment.
I'm getting (from all the download sources for 4.0) a 7.6Mb .dmg with 0 bytes content. Anyone else having this problem? I've tried different browsers, same issue.
If you're trying and failing to get v2.7 to work in Tiger with the Safari v3 final that came with 10.4.11 update, you need to open the info.plist in the PithHelmet bundle and change the MaxBundleVersion from 522 to 523.
Not quark's fault, in the end - the result of an archive/install in OSX leaving some of the more 'system' files out of some large apps. Quark gave me a fix for it pretty promptly.
