My 2 star rating might seem harsh since Yummy FTP is a genuinely solid FTP app. The problem I have with it is that it brings nothing new to the table. Why would anyone pay $20 or more for an FTP app like Yummy FTP when apps like CyberDuck, which have a better interface and an equally powerful feature set, are completely free?
My hat goes off to the author for writing a nice app, but honestly, there is no need for another FTP client in the OS X market, and Yummy FTP doesn't bring anything new to the arena.
I use this app constantly. Its my favorite tool when I need to view the raw guts of a file without worrying about the bits and bytes getting encoded or interpreted the wrong way. Love it! It's simple, yeah, but you can't beat the price :P

I used to actually use a command-line tool to do batch processing, but GUI apps are a much much nicer alternative.
