I love and trust companies that make a secret of where they are located and who are the people behind them. No, I really do ... honestly ...

What about automatic updating? Any halfway decent app has it.

Maybe I was wrong about auto updating, Dropbox must have installed 1.2.49 some time today, because I didn't do it manually and I have it running. But why the f... don't I get any notice about that?
And what if I didn't want an update because was buggy? I mean stuff like that happened even to Apple themselves.

Adobe InDesign CS5.5

Xplicit reviewed on 05 Dec 2011
Handling is complicated and not Mac-like at all, the UI is pretty bad and it's overpriced. Basically I think the same about InDesign as @Twisted below.

Skype
Xplicit commented on 18 Nov 2011
A few weeks ago I took the time and wrote an eMail to the Skype team politely explaining my opinion and my concerns about the software, especially the user interface. Guess what, never got an answer, instead Skype keeps getting worse and worse.

Apple Xcode

Not only is the updating process via AppStore total rubbish but the memory leaks in Interface Builder are unpleasant and embarrassing.

Oh, I forgot, the Documentation Browser is terribly slow.
