Usefulness, wealth of features, stability, customizable functions and appearance - that's all given in Chromium at an admirable extent, so, no wonder, it has become my default browser some weeks ago.
The only problem is a total loss of the context menu in all recent releases of the "nightly builds", the so called "latest" channel of beta versions.
ok, i could return to using a stable version, BUT doing so, i'm getting an alert that the current user profile for Chromium has been created by a "newer" build than this stable (older) version that i'm about to launch now and, hence, and cannot be used.
So what ?
Any thoughts ?

It's the lack of a plugin structure like in other web kit browsers that was undoubtedly on Omni Group to get integrated; this is finally what's responsible for OmniWeb not being compatible with recent versions of 1Password
For me (and an increasing number of Mac users) there is a huge aversion against applications available on MAS only.
If a neutral observer thinks about what is going here: a hardware (and software-) manufacturer urges software developers to leave them the sales of their products and you transfer this model to a market segment of routine, say automobiles, that would suggest that Ford urges tire producers to leave sales and a big deal of the income to Ford - so what is the reason for Apple to not be told what they are: greedy, unscrupulous and megalomaniac.
I will never grab any program through the App Store - even if the app is freeware, because the whole procedure is nasty and tedious.
Sorry for the rant - but how to say it otherwise ?
I'd be curious about MU's opinon, by the way.
this app store is an unacceptable tutelage and a typical greedy commercial excess of our days - an increasing number of mac users refrain from using it, you won't believe it until you see it.
in comparison to all other mail clients on the market (tested most of them but not all, of course), GyazMail seems pretty much the best (features, ease of use, stability, customizability).
If i only could get IMAP to work !!! (Apple Mail sends and gets new IMAP mail for a sample account - so, the serverside settings seem to be ok).
In the prefs i created the new account for IMAP but no access happens.
Has anybody successfully been using IMAP with GyazMail ?
There is no point whining about developers accepting the greedy dictatorship of Apple.
Boycott is the answer - click the page away, use another product and be consequent; one day compliant developers will wake up with regret.
i was highly interested in this app but ignored it since it was on the app store only.
if there is an upcoming move to provide apps again from dev's web sites, than you are one of the pioneers;
seen that Apple offers their latest operating system os x 10.6.7 from MacUpdate, whereas tiny tools are available from the app store only, is a piece of insanity which provokes anger and abstinence on all sides.
i did noit agree with this policy and decided for a boycott of such apps and tools.
"... Version 10.6.7:
Improve the reliability of Back to My Mac
Resolve an issue when transferring files to certain SMB servers
Address various minor Mac App Store bugs"
- these three minor issues are fixed with a lightweight update of just 476 MB
- 3 MB sized tools are available from the App Store only - this Apple operating system though from MacUpdate - wow, i'll have much to learn about logics, WTF !!!

Chromium
i could resolve this by adding the plugin "gestures for chrome"
another prob was the denied use of an existing chromium profile for another build of chromium
i also could resolve this by just adding a new user

indeed, there is no doubt, it works and GyazMail establishes itself after trying any number of competitors as the needle in the hay stack
