Very simple, very easy to use and perfect if you need to copy/paste recipes. Yum will take the text and parse it so that you can insert all the ingredients in one go and it will split it up for you!
Handles shopping list, displays step-by-step in huge letters. NICE!
Handling of categories could be a bit easier - takes a moment to figure out how to assign (category drawer is found under menu Recipe, but not Category) - but welcome that each recipe can be in several categories. Could be a more user-friendly way to indicate what I have in stock for the shopping list. So, not 5-stars, but a very well-earned 4-star
Not even out of beta, of all the GTD apps out there this is the one I use. My goal is to get things done, not to spend my time tinkering with methods and tools and this is the app that actually helps me do it. With all the others I tried I sooner or later tired of them because they were too complicated or forced me to do things their way, not mine.
"Area of responsibility" for non-project stuff (never ends) is great idea.
"Scheduled" for irregularly repeating stuff is simply marvelous!
Only thing I that could be better is the tracking of done things within projects.
I have been using this almost as long as I have been on the internet. i.e. for more than 10 years. It has never let me down.
Of course I have been wondering why no updates have appeared (apart from those that made it compatible with the latest OS and browser versions) - but then: it didn't really need improving. It has always done all I wanted it to do. I've always had all my bookmarks in all my browsers - and as a web developer I have plenty.
Was sold the moment I saw that one can sync two databases. I always have at least one set at work and one at home and with my old solution it was such a drag to remember which items I had added where.
Does not get 5 stars because I had trouble finding features such as defining a preset for a record (e.g. Credit Card info) oneself (but one can, which is great!), or getting it to hide passwords by default. (easy, just one setting, but had trouble finding it. searched in prefs, but was in tool menu). Plus, after importing > 500 items from other app, I found it hard to set the appropriate presets (despite possibility of Bulk Edit...), because the wrongly named fields just disappeared (incl. their content).
I use it at work to keep notes. Of decisions, minutes, just like a real notebook.
I've done some rather extensive evaluation and Circus Ponies NoteBook is the most intuitive and non-intrusive one. You don't have to think about the interface. That's what makes it valuable to me.
Search is very usable and the automatic index pages are extremely welcome.
There are other similar apps, some with many more features, but for simple note taking this is the best.
DON'T INSTALL!

Can finally recommend this product again.
Perfect if you want to do more with your Apple Remote Control than just use Front Row & Co.
