My default save location is the desktop. Doesn't matter how I try archiving the .DMG, it could be in a folder with other items, it could be by itself, doesn't seem to matter. I get the same message regardless. All I'm doing is pressing Save like I do with all my other archiving, but if a .DMG is in the list, I get the I/O error. I'm not sure what's happening. Kind of weird.
Well I'm stupid and you were correct. I had the default unarchiving location set to the Desktop. I had the default Save location set to Macintosh HD. Therefore, I was getting the I/O error. I should pay attention to my settings next time. All is well and thanks for the help.
Endured lots of pain trying to find a good subtitle editor, but most of them are either subpar or they can't even open mp4 or mkv files. This editor opens everything and it does it better than any other app of it's kind. Simply the best subtitle editor on the Mac... and simple to use. Great stuff, thanks! Love the interface as well.
The update feature hasn't seemed to work in... well ever. I have no problem manually downloading software, I'm pretty used to that sort of thing, but I'm wondering if this is an issue for everyone or if my NoteBook just hates me. =P
Entropy
Don't know what the problem is. Most other archivers have no issue with .DMG files.
The only error message in Console regarding the matter is the following:
"2/29/12 5:34:14.335 PM Entropy: [Iridium] Could not move archive to the final destination"
