Today, MarketCircle, Inc. completed beta testing of Daylite 3.5 (of which 20 + betas were released)!
Many users (myself included) volunteered to be beta testers for this important release, and as became evident to those of us testing, MarketCircle was serious about doing this right the first time (multi-user syncing). In my opinion, they succeeded!
Daylite 3.5 is a sophisticated business tool for the Mac. It can be used by a single user or many users. There is definitely a learning curve... but with the online forum and email support (from the company), you'll usually get several suggestions on how best to solve your particular issue.
With Daylite 3.5, if I am on the phone with a particular client, I can view ALL of the items I have attached to this client within one window (ie; tasks; notes; emails; referrals; meetings & appointments; proposals; opportunities; items I've delegated; desktop files; contracts; photos; etc)!!!
If retaining copies of your client's emails and attachments (after being deleted from Apple's Mail) is important to you like it is to me, then you will want to have the DMI module. I have found this to be an invaluable add-on.
If you have been sitting on the fence, watching this product mature, and have been waiting for the syncing aspects of Daylite to be fully realized, the time to try it out is now. Before starting though, take the time to perform a final sync of your mobile devices, backup your Apple Address Book and your iCal databases, and then follow Daylite's instructions.
Once you are all setup, and have performed some cleanup within your database (eliminating duplicates, etc), I know you'll find that you be pleased with your choice!
I am most impressed with the simplicity of iGTD, and its integration with AddressBook and iCal. The developer has been extremely responsive to ideas and feature requests.
For 22 years now I have used macs to run my business, I can count on one hand the applications I really enjoy using, iGTD is one of them.
iGTD is maturing rapidly. There are certainly kinks to work out, some polish to add, but it is stable enough to use now.
Keep an eye on this developer. You will see great things from this young man.
I have purchased and used many other applications/widgets, but have never been happy with one aspect or another. Either they didn't print a simple and clean looking to-do list, or they were not stable, or didn't integrate with iCal well. What I like the most is that I don't have to open iCal to add a to-do.
It's elegant, easy to use, integrates seamlessly with iCal, shows the due dates neatly next to the priority setting, and it prints out an excellent to-do list.
If you are looking for a powerful application, capable of tracking all of your client emails, attachments, files, tasks, notes, appointments, quotes, etc., then this application is for you. Daylite creates a copy of these important communications, so that even if you delete the original emails, photos, files, etc. from your computer you will still have them within Daylite's database.
This is a serious business application meant for those of us who are serious about storing and accessing all of our client information from one application.
I would highly recommend this program to anyone in sales. I use the 'estimate' template daily to generate all of my quotes and the 'opportunity pipeline' (which can be customized) for tracking and organizing my current sales progression 'timeline', as well as any future sales opportunities.
I have just finished adding several item to eBay for auction. This program is outstanding! I had a small problem with getting the application to work, the developer responded immediately and the problem was on my end, but he suggested a fix for me, and it worked like a charm. I am so glad I invested $25 in this a pp because it makes selling on eBay fun and makes my items look great with its professional layout.
This program is outstanding! Anyone who builds web sites would find this tool extremely helpful. Drag and drop your photo, select the degrees of rotation, select the frame/shadow width, and you have a unique, artistic looking image.

I really appreciate the developer's efforts and his ongoing support. Keep up the great work!
