I purchased the download version. I have been sending notes (with my recceipt) for the past two weeks to obtain this update, since I am a registered user and qualify for the free updates for life. However, the company has ignored my notes and I have had NO response from them. Free updates are ONLY good if the company responds and pays attention to it's customer. Given my situation, I would caution people from believing in this company's posted update policy. They guaranttee a response in 2 business days. I guess from where they are located, a business day must be a week.

Excellent Applicaton. Version 1.0 had some issues. I had registered 1.0 after doing a small test which worked ok BUT later in doing a much larger test, the issues arose. However, I contacted support with regards to the issues and added some refinement requests and the authors responded very quickly and professional and solved the main issue and in 1.1 even added some of my feature requests. Support is excellent and above par and they really do listen to you. It is a pleasure to work with these folks. Bravo
Actually, with each release, the applications does get better and the author is very receptive to suggestions and improvements. He has worked hard to import as much information as is available and provide comparible features that exist in other competitive products. Pricing is also comparable to other products.
The application has never crashed and I have tested it on a wide range of machines.
I really do thing that some users need to ensure that they are installing it properly and don't have pre-existing problems on their system prior to writing negative reviews.

An excellent application. I have used iCash since v1.0 and found some necessary items that were missing. Maxprog has been very good with their support and keeping me up to date on changes to the system. v1.1 added report printing and v1.2 should add QIF support.
Otherwise the features, easy of use, and other functions of this application make it a must have low cost personal financial solution. It would also be suitable to small and medium size business.
Author should relook at his packaging as his disk copy routines cause his image to stay open and it leaves disk copy hung up in the background and you can't get rid of of the img on your desktop. It has been rated as such (without regard to his content) and his image and installation is faulty. Plus the author does not leave an email address here or on his web site. This is very bad; no matter how good the app may be.
This is an excellent application that works well and outperforms lessor products. It requires no manual work (like downtimer) except to setup your time ranges. Documentation is straightforward and easy to read. The author is also quite willing to add features and provides excellent service. This is a must have app for your MAC if you wish to have more control of your users. This app is also a steal at the price that author requests; there should be no reason for you not to download, use, and register this app.
