Interface is far to complicated for a one-man freelance company.

The recurring billing seems to be very erratic.

Far to many things to fiddle with.

If you install Apple Developer tools there is something similar built in called Network Link Conditioner. This can simulate all sorts of conditions like 3G/Edge/WiFi (Lossy, Average and Good for each type).

It's in /Developer/Applications/Utilities/Network Link Conditioner, and installs as a preference pain.

This is a handy program however it has it's flaws. When I reduce a JPEG in dimensions it frequently doubles in files size. I can easily fix this using ImageOptim, however it does seem strange that this happens.

Webgrind

I had to change a line in config.php to read thus:

static $xdebugOutputFormat = '/^trace.[0-9]+.xt/';

After this webgrind could find the trace files.

When I tried to analyze the files it created two httpd process that took 70% of CPU each. The trace file then mushroomed to 1.6GB.

I am using latest MAMP, with all the zend accelerator features turned off.

Microsoft Desktop

Wfm had trouble on 02 Mar 2004

I installed this driver and then I could not use the Expose Show Desktop feature. I tried everything to make it work. All 5 mouse buttons worked, but I couldn't do the desktop thing.

I then installed version 3.1, rebooted, uninstalled, rebooted, and now I have full controll over the mouse buttons and they can all be used with Expose for all features.

Avoid this like the plague !!
