I have a G4 PPC Powerbook. During upgrade to 10.4.9 the installer froze and my system did not respond anymore. Had to reinstall my OS.
But this time everything went smooth. No probs here. No issues with iTunes or whatever

Thanks Citadel for the tip. I had exactly the same problem and managed to work around it.
I work on a 1.67 GHz PPC G4 alu powerbook, 2 Gig, Mac Os X.4.8

Cooliris Previews

I really love cooliris, but...
I use google a lot for my research and cooliris saves me a lot of time. It is also handy that u can browse in the cooliris window itself (back & forward buttons could be handy though...) However since i installed the app, safari has stopped unexpectedly a few times already!!! Safari never crashed on me before! I will continu to use cooliris but i hope that the developer will upload an update soon.

MultiAlarm

Great application!
When i ran Multialarm for the first time i got an error message. I emailed the developer and he replied immediately. Within 5 minutes the problem was solved. So I have nothing but praise for the man and his application.
Am giving 4 stars. Not 5, only to encourage him to add some options such as password protection...

Apple Safari

Safari 3 looks promising. It is a lot faster, although half of the time it would not load and needed refresh. I also like the new features. However it interfered with my OS. I could no longer use my CTRL key, which i use a lot. Uninstalling Safari 3 did not solve the problem, but made it worse. Some applications would no longer launch, dock didn't work, i couldn't open packages anymore to (re)install and so on.
Have to reinstall my OS from disc...
But apart from that...Safari 3 looks promising! LOL

I updated using software update. After download i got the message 'could not install, installer sent to dustbin'. Immediately after the finder did no longer respond, kernel panic. Now my computer does not restart; i get a blue screen with progression bar window... but nothing happens.

Same here. Since update to X4.7 the widget doesn't work anymore. It loads, but when i click any button it doesn't do nothing...
Pity, coz i really like this widget a lot!!!!
