For a little more than a week, my Kensington wireless desktop (Model 64832) worked well with my MacBook (OS 10.4.7). Yesterday morning, however, the mouse went on strike. While still willing to employ its two buttons and its wheel, it refused to fulfill the essential duties of its office - to wit, the moving of the pointer about the screen.
Like the other folks who posted reviews on this site, I have had no joy from customer service. Neither have all of the usual remedies - reloading software, restarting the computer, synchronizing the mouse with the base station - born any fruit.
After I posted my initial review, this website was kind enough to offer me a free version of Mouseworks. I downloaded this software, installed it, restarted my computer and resynchronized my wireless desktop.
Alas, there was no change in the performance of my mouse.
