I installed the software on a MacBook, but after a reboot I was unable to get the login window.

due to their fast, excellent technical support it was possible to modify the system startup and avoid the error cause obviously by an bundle compiled for the PPC instead of Intel. Meanwhile, a Intel version should be available.
