Not bad, but not that user friendly as is.
requires that you keep going back to the note list manually after closing and opening again from the menubar, otherwise stays on the same page you left it, including the settings tab.
Changing the font on one word changes the font on the entire database.
Also a bit sluggish when changing page/tabs.
Starting a new search requires highlighting and deleting of the previous word, there is no X button.
Just some minor things.
I presume the 'location' column is still on it's way ....it's a dealbreaker without it.
Apart from that the search results window still pops up in a weird place, off to the right of my screen ....it should either pop up in the middle, under the search box, where you last placed it, or in a user specified location.
missing a very obvious 'location' column in the list view, otherwise is just 'easyfind' with root access, which would be a great thing (don't know why 'easyfind' cannot add root access but anyway)
I have to chime in and say that while getting a sync to work is hit and miss and sometimes requires several disconnections and reconnections and even deleting of the phone profile and adding again as new ......it does actually work, unlike 'missing sync', which i never managed to get working, and it syncs contacts perfectly, with all the fields intact and in the right place including the picture.
However it unfortunately more 'merges' the contacts rather than syncs .....i usually just delete my mac contacts and do a one way sync to avoid duplicates that have changed slightly.
I cannot say about any of the paid features because i have never tried them.
absolutely brilliant app, perfectly functional autofill logins, unlike the increasingly unreliable and buggy 1password, fair price too .....just ...really, really, needs an interface update ...especially those OS 9 icons in the app
can't even try it because as soon as i import a note which opens fine on yojimbo it locks up, crashes, and then on re-open gives me a msg:
"Couldn’t connect to database ...SOHO Notes failed to connect to the database, because the following error occurred: The file “Personal.sohodb” couldn’t be opened because it isn’t in the correct format."
with an option of either "Restore backup database" which doesn't open because it is either blanked out or doesn't exist, and "Quit" ....so i have to quit ....and that's it ....cannot open it again.
Same thing happens again after deleting all files and starting from scratch.
there is a bug with 10.6.1 when saving files as m4a, Quicktime X reads the wrong time length and some of the files show as up to 9 hours long ....they work fine in iTunes
