This new version is a serious improvement for video conversions. Previously, the user interface would be become unresponsive on Lion, but this seems to be fixed now:). This app really shines when it comes to batch processing large numbers of videos.
Version 2.0 is a very nice update with some great new features: for me it has become much faster and stable. Never have any issues with this new version. Still worth every penny to me.
I use both VideoDrive and iFlicks. Both apps have their advantages and shortcomings. I do like the interface of iFlicks more, but in terms of advanced settings and batch processing, VideoDrive is much better.
The weird thing is, I have several videos that cannot be processed by iFlicks (crashes, lockups), while VideoDrive handles them nicely.
Works great on my 64bit Snow Leopard installation. Online metadata did work anymore, but an update was released the same day. Nice customer support!.
My only complaint is the quality of the downloaded images: they are ok, but not the best.
