This app has some nice features. It's fast and seems stable. The thing that I need the most that is missing from this app is alignment of points. I can't select a bunch of points and align them. I have to drag one point at a time. In fact, selecting things in general is hard.
It seems like there should be a selection tool and it should allow me to drag and select points rather than shapes. Maybe there could be a modifier key to hold down to do that?
Another thing is I want my inspector visible all the time. Perhaps that could be an option as well? I don't want to have to bring it up on a per shape basis.
Adobe, you do not have a clue what you are doing. You already had Adobe Muse years ago. You bought a little company called GoLive, remember? They made something called GoLive Cyberstudio and it was awesome. Then you bought it and ruined it, just like you've ruined every Macromedia product as well.
GoLive did almost everything that Muse can do, and that was several years ago. What is the point, really?
Coders are making sites with Coda and TextMate and Eclipse, and using CMSs. A web development firm isn't going to hire someone that can use Muse to build a site. They will hire someone that knows how to code. And if you are only going to use Muse to build a personal site or two, then why would you pay a monthly/yearly subscription fee to do that?
This is a FAIL waiting to fail.
I am not affiliated with either of these apps, but if you are going to buy this one trick pony, then I suggest paying just a little more and getting an app that can do more than just gradients:

Gradient is nice looking, but only does one thing. That one thing you can do for free (and actually better because Gradient does not support stops right now) by going to this site: http://www.colorzilla.com/gradient-editor/
Oh, Google... you just don't understand what the Mac is about, do you? Forget Android, forget Picasa, forget Gmail. Just stick to search. It's all you're good at despite making billions of dollars.
Price is $2.99 in the App Store not $1.99. Also, this app is using the same name as a free color picker by the guy that develops Bowtie. I was using that Colors color picker before this one was released.

So, I'm not sure about all these icon creation utilities anymore. Apple has a free one in their free Xcode kit called Icon Composer. Seems to work pretty well, can make both icns and ico resources, and…free.
Thank you for the quick response. For some reason it was grayed out. I quit and opened it again and it was still grayed out. Then on the third re-launch it became selectable. Strange. But, it worked.
Beta software should not even be allowed on this site. Only stable releases. Betas should only be available from the developer's website to those that wish to take the chance that they'll work properly.
Maybe that's what's good about the Mac App Store. They don't allow such software to degrade a user's experience.
Well, maybe Adobe will release a beta operating system based on AIR and Flash that we can all try out, then? I'm sure we would all use it without pause.
Geccoh, I am not saying beta software shouldn't exist. I am saying it shouldn't be posted on this site. It should be reserved for the developer's website, where people who are familiar with beta software can go and download it. I don't want my 65 year old dad coming to MacUpdate and downloading this POS because he thought it was a stable release and then I have to go to his house and fix his computer.
You said that, "Beta releases are really for those of us who know what is involved in software development, and the regular user probably should not download them."
That is exactly my point!
