Try decreasing the amount of connections it makes in the prefs. Some routers don't like it when apps like Transmission try to make 500 connections at a time. I have mine set to 250 without much of a slowdown.
I have to say, although past versions have been bloated with ads for Deluxe or whatever, Stuffit has gotten better.
When extracting a file a simple progress bar appears, uses Growl, and opens virtually any archive thrown at it (especially those old binhex and sit files).
I use The Unarchiver myself, but I do admit Stuffit has done a decent job of improving their basic expander program.
Man, this thing is still being 'updated'? Nice looking interface and that's about it. Still buggy and crashes, and still banned on some trackers because it's still based on some old Transmission code. Not worth the $24.
I'd recommend the new versions of Transmission, or even uTorrent if you want the site search feature.
Pros: Can open virtually any type of video file. Free!
Cons: UI is a bit messy/unintuitive, and sometimes crashes randomly when seeking.
Result: A decent piece of open source software that has lots of features that are packed into a somewhat confusing interface that occasionally crashes.
I'm running 10.4.11 on a PPC Mac, and I can't seem to make a new painting at all. When I open the app, it only shows a tool palette, and selecting "New Painting" from the menu doesn't do anything...?
Help! I still am using 10.3.9, and deleted the old Gmail Notifier because I didn't know the new version was for 10.4 only! Does anyone know where to get the old version?

A few minor file-type quirks, but other than that it's a great plugin.

This is another reason why we need to stick with open standards, like CSS3 animations, and HTML5 video elements.

Except some of the text is white-on-gray, which is pretty hard to read. I'm guessing it has something to do with Leopard's HUD windows?
