"We are also introducing an advertising platform in this new release, but if you are a paying Skype consumer or have Skype Credit, you won't see any display ads; similar to the model that is currently being used in our Skype for Windows client."
That's fine with me. I have to agree though that the UI/UX has been a mess ever since the 2.8 release.
An excellent system utility with access to lots of functionality that is otherwise hidden from the Mac OS X user. Frequent (not too!) updates, good support -- and it's free. Go get it.
Great UI/UX and functionality. I simply love it. Only caveat right now: The Parsing Engine is English only. But there's more languages to come, hopefully. Bought my license right away (and I'm German ;-)
I've been using Kiwi since a couple of (closed) betas and already bought my license before 1.0 came out. From my point of view, this is one of the best native Twitter clients for the Mac and well worth a try. The themes from Elixir are beautiful and Isaiah has done a great Snow Leopard programming job.
Kiwi is already my default Mac Twitter app (and has replaced Tweetie). Still waiting for Tweetie 2, though ;-)
I just sent a test fax to my office unified messaging inbox and the sipgate Faxprinter worked like charm. The transmission of the 2-page file took about 5 seconds. Soon after I received a protocol e-mail and then the fax itself.
It's a bit strange that this comes as an application instead of a permanent printer driver, that's probably due to the fact that you have to be registered and logged in with sipgate to use it. But since I only seldomly have to fax something, that's fine with me.
I would just say: Stunningly beautiful. I have already fired up my CandyBar and replaced the standard system drive icons with the "Unibody" ones from Ive Drives on my (unibody) MacBook...

Just an author and his words. Nothing else. Beautiful typography, minimalist and simple UI/UX.
Well done.
