Thanks App Store... 1000 apps for 99 cents each that do pretty much the same thing, just a LITTLE different.

Say NO to garbage and one-trick ponies!

I am a total beginner when it comes to website creation, BUT I quickly found that I needed some advanced features like code injections in order to add something like a flattr button and such.
So, after using iWeb at first, which was of course dead simple, I quickly needed something more sophisticated. I jumped on RapidWeaver and loved it at first, but some usability problems made it complicated to use it for what I wanted, and also, sorry, the designs are kinda ugly at times. I even tried to learn more hardcore tools like Flux, but it took me ages to get actually something done with it.
Then I found Sandvox. Oh boy, I really dont know about V1, but the new release deserves more praise than a mere 3 Stars here at MacUpdate! A LARGE variety of built-in themes, lots of those pagelets for customizing your site and a good balance between iWeb-like beginner features and advanced add-ons.
Yes, you are kinda bound to a design, but you can always switch between them with a few clicks or purchase a third-party design if there is something you end up liking.
Ease of use and stability are really out there, combined with great features and a great value.

What else is there to say aside this: I trust this app to create my website! And this says a lot!

Dont get me wrong, this app is great, but really - NO update for 1.5 years?

Also I could really use a tutorial or anything "help-related" to fully use all the features. This app works well, but I think I barely used its full potential...

This is BY FAR better than for example Sonic Mood, which has been sold here recently on MacUpdate. I was disappointed from its poor audio/harmony quality and cheap MIDI sounds.

Now THIS...

1. It is free!
2. Even when you simply switch it on, it sounds better than certain shareware solutions!
3. Seems to have tons of options, I am just diving in!

Only minor issue - it is a huge download with almost 300 MB, but then again, the sounds have to come from somewhere ;)

So far I like the app a lot. Only complaint is a not very intuitive interface and non-standard look.

This app is currently crashing right away when launching, when it says "updating tags folder" or somethingsomething.

I sent an eMail to support yesterday. Lets hope this bug is getting fixed soon.

This update broke every chance to connect to anything. Nothing is working anymore. This is the second time such a thing happened, but this time I dont have the old version as a backup :(

Help! Still got the same problem here.
The Eyetoy cam is detected, but the screen remains black. If I push the "Play" button, it says USB communication error... :(
