I purchased PhoneView because I was trading in my old crippled iPhone for a new one, and didn't want to lose my text messages. When I hooked up my new iPhone - PhoneView put everything on it automatically. All my text messages live on.
Other than that, I haven't used it much - but out of the box I am really impressed. Worth the 14.95! And I love that you can save individual text conversations to PDF files for posterity. - As far as the demo version complaints, it was a tad confusing where I was supposed to download from, so I ended up with the demo version at first, but there is a link to the paid version somewhere on the email.
