The newest version of HOME for TomTom One is useless. It will render updates impossible and continually send you an error message when you try to use it with your GPS.

TomTom technical support is equally useless, and clueless. They have no idea how to fix the problem and will only tell you to reinstall the application. I asked for an older version and they sent me a link to a Window .exe file. As I said, useless and clueless.

So, like many others I'm stuck with a unit that has outdated maps with no solution.

Well, there is one: Dump TomTom and get a Garmin.

TomTom is hemorrhaging customers and it's easy to see why.
