For those having problems with the background picture, please note that this feature will only work on Mac OS X 10.4 and later. The background picture property of Finder windows is not scriptable on earlier versions of Mac OS X. This is mentioned in DMG Packager Help. (Obviously it needs to be mentioned in the log output for those who don't read Help.)
