have decided that it would only be fair to give a licence key (when implemented) to those who have reported problems. If you find anything, don't forget to tell me the site that you're testing and your version of OSX
I did wrote this during the Beta period in order to encourage bug reports and have sent keys to those who got in touch. I didn't intend it to apply after the Beta period and I can't seem to delete the comment now. Bug reports are still very welcome, but I can't now send a key in exchange.
I've spotted an error in my build settings which would explain the problem on 10.5. I'm looking at it now but in the mean time, you can obtain the previous version (non-10.7 but good on 10.5 and 10.6) at http://peacockmedia.co.uk/integrity/integrity36.dmg
Wow - fantastic. Very easy to use, and found the deleted files I needed. Unfortunately the free version only scans and you need to buy the pro version to recover your files. But it proved that it could do the job and I was very happy to pay.
Unfortunately it wasn't, and it had been a long time since I backed up, but I'm happy to report that it recovered all of the files I needed and was very easy to use. As a developer I know what goes into these things. I'm very grateful and happy to have paid.
Excellent - just worked first time and is very easy to use. I found installation a bit of a faff, I had to go to the developer's site and download and install several packages, but it all went without a hitch.
I decided to give this a go rather than the manufacturer's own software, and definitely prefer this. Thank you for this software and for making it available for free.
Apologies for the problems with my site, I'm happy to say that it's back up and running. Thank you to those who managed to track me down to donate or for support. I'm also happy to say that Integrity is going strong - I've just submitted a new minor release, and v4 is in progress. Shiela
I've tested on several versions of OSX including 10.4.11 - all seems well. Perhaps the download didn't complete. Please try again and if you still have trouble, please email me - shiela at peacockmedia.co.uk
Apologies for the download problems and thanks for the emails - badly-timed maintenance on peacockmedia.co.uk. I've added a temporary mirror at http://stgl.co.uk/Integrity/integrity.dmg
I'd take issue with 'false information'. If Integrity reported code 503, then that's what it received from the site. 503 is a 'service temporarily unavailable' message from the server. The fact that it was a temporary problem is proved by the fact that 200 codes were given when you re-checked. (No web server has 100% up-time.)
There are a number of reasons why a link checker may not get the right answer first time, and it's for just that reason that there's a 'Re-check Bad Links' option under the File menu.
Given that a 5xx code doesn't necessarily indicate a broken link, but a problem with the server, you might prefer to go to prefs and set these to be highlighted in a colour which is less alarming than red.
I've been testing Integrity with a number of sites, but being the very first release, it's probably not going to be 100% stable. If you do have problems (or enhancement suggestions), please, please, please use the report form at http://peacockmedia.co.uk/integrity/support/form.html - tell me which website you were checking.
