Upon launching this application under 10.6.8 on my Mac Pro system performance lags significantly.

With the application in the foreground or background simply moving the cursor becomes torturous.

If you're going competing a free app* with more versatility than your own you'll need to show a compelling reason for people to pay 30.00.

It looks like Apple's latest security update broke ClamXav's definition update system.

That's at least what's happened here.

I also own Snow Leopard Cache Cleaner so I can manually 'force' definition updates. (I'm hoping ClamXav Sentry is still scanning)

Why is 4.0a5 listed as new, on the dev's web site it's listed as being released in 2009
