Loving this app more and more.

As soon as I can set the view to group mail by day and find out if Google calendar entries get synced I'm ready to switch from Outlook.

Great app but I wish the developer would use less cryptic descriptions for what some options do, make it easier for the user te understand.

For example:
Paramaters > General > Graphic Efects [] Window Opening

This actually disables the animated popup of System Windows/Notifications (like Empty Trash warning), not the zooming Finder Windows, so why not call it that?.

I thought it would be more clear to call this General Parameter "Notification Window Animation []On []Off".

Very nice app, I love it.

Apple should've implemented this in its OS before Microsoft came up with it. Much better than the awkward Mission Control/Exposé.

$699??? I only can buy the so called QuarkXPress 8 Europe West Edition which costs € 1.349 ($ 1.840)! LOL! Almost 3 times as much. I am never going to pay that amount of cash for a simple Dutch UI and spelling system.

Compare that to the sweet price of $ 699 for InDesign which comes with a huge list of languages Quark!

There's definately going something wrong here. When I switched between Classical and Vertical view I first got wrong senders, eg email from MyFonts appears to be sent by Postbox, then I only could select 2 emails at a time or even 3 at a time. Now I see that all mail in column view is listed twice..

Any chance grouping of email by day is going to be emplemented? Please with ability to turn it on/of. Makes browsing email so much easier.

Deliver Express

Looks very nice but can't get FTP to work. Every time I put something in the Path field I get strange error messages like:

"Server denied you to change to the given directory

Last Server Message: 221 Goodbye.

Please make sure that destination address and login info are correct."

I am sure the Path is correct as I double checked. I maintain the FPT server myself and FileChute and Transmit work just fine. It seems like Deliver Express can only see files or folders which are in the root of the FTP server.

Also, something weird happens wheb I resize the Destinations window...

So I guess I'm staying with FileChute.

I get a lot of these errors when I double click a Word doc to open it in Word 2011:

The same file opens normal in Word 2008.

Anyone got a clue…?

Somehow the text in my firts post did not make it to the comments. Here is the error message I get a lot:

"This is not a valid file name.
Try one or more of the following:
* Check the path to make sure it was typed correctly.
* Select a file from the list of files and folders.
(filename of the file I was trying to open)"

FontExplorer X Pro

Downgraded the InDesing plugin and now efverything works just fine.

I am surprised that not a lot of people are experiencing this problem. Or not a lot of people are reading this and/or are not experiencing the same problem...

Anyway, no news from Linotype yet. I mailed the problem a few days ago so I guess there are not a lot of complaints and I'm sure its related to my system which is a Early 2009 Mac Pro Quad core 2.93 Ghz with Mac OS X 10.6.2 btw.

FontExplorer X Pro

InDesign freezes with the FontExplorer plugin installed when I open a document which contains fonts which need to be activated. Its completely reproducible, when I remove the plugin InDesign opens the document just fine. When I install the plugin InDesign freezes and needs to be Force Quit.

I cleaned system and application font caches, repaired privileges, trashed InDesign prefs but to no avail.

Anyone else having this problem?

I have installed PithHelmet using Pacifist but now Safari sometimes downloads a file called "blocked" and when I try to trash this I get "The operation cannot be completed because the item "SIMBL" is in use. What's that all about?!
