The 1.0.1 version won't install for me because it's telling me I have a newer version of SIMBL installed already. Why should this software install the SIMBL plugin when I already have it installed? Are you using an older version of SIMBL?
I still get new chat notifications via Growl but no window that appears. When I try to quit iChat and review the available chats, the window appears with a black background.
I'm on a 17" G4 Powabook using 10.4.7 with Growl installed. Hope that is helpful.
Well, here's what I've found so far about the connection troubles:
I wasn't able to connect using favorites, but I could connect manually.
Here's how to fix the problem:
You'll need to edit each of your favorites. Chances are "Use passive mode for data transfers" is unchecked. Try checking that option and saving your favorite. Reconnect. That has worked for me.
It seems these favorite options were not remembered while upgrading.
