In the UK, EVERYONE seems to use MSN. There's the odd person on AOL, but MSN has dominated this country. Sadly, Microsoft for some strange reason aren't big fans of the mac community, and so when I downloaded this product to speak to friends I was dissapointed. The program (version 3) lacked all the new emoticons, webcam chat, audio chat, avatar support, and many many more. In fact, it sucked. And then, years later, they released version 4! Amazed that they would finally add all the features in to this buggy unstable software, I downloaded it and noticed the following changes:

-New Icon
-New Emoticons

Yay. Now we can enjoy all the functionality of the windows users, thanks to this new version. Goodbye Microsoft, I've got some new friends, Adium, Proteus, aMSN, dMSN, Mac Messenger and... I'm sure there's more, but they all share one thing -

They are better than this unstable, buggy, featureless, interface-deprived excuse of a mac application.

Truely awful.

I've been using this program flawlessly for months now, it's boosted by dsl to 280kbs which is slightly higher than the usual 56kbs... The results may vary from different connections, but besides the speed boost, it's a great fully featured and functional download manager.

I used the installer and now my mac can't see my printer. Great, i think i'll contact HP about that one. First time i've ever needed support on a mac.
