Logitech Harmony Remote Software

Rspeed reviewed on 10 May 2012
What a miserable pile of crap this software is. I love the remote, but Logitech seems intent on putting no effort into building a decent application for programming their remotes. The only consolation I see is that you rarely have to use it.

Also, how is this "native"? The screenshot shows a web view.

Does what it says on the tin with very little effort. The only improvement I cold ask for is for it to run faster on large images, but I know that's not possible without replacing the underlying software.

How does something with 4 ratings of 1 star or lower get a 4 star average? That's a higher number than all the ratings combined!

It probably has something to do with the fact that I don't like people who churn out a dozen single-site browsers using Prism and claim them as their own, misrepresent them as native applications, call themselves a developer, astroturf like there's no tomorrow, and criticize people who report bugs.

Is that enough to think that maybe the inaccurate 4-star rating is undeserved? So I guess we should add "criticizing a critic".
