I love the light footprint and speed. This is particularity useful for less powerful machines.
I used Dock Doder ( http://foggynoggin.com/dockdodger ) to hide the dock icon (it removed it from the command-tab switching menu (whatever that is called) also.
Worked well for me after I modified the button codes to work under Tiger. To launch a program (Quicktime for example), I had to change the button code in two ways. First, for some reason the Spotlight modifier "name:" didn't work for me, so I just deleted it. (I think enclosing the search term in quotes does the same thing.
Second, if you are running Tiger (10.4), Spotlight wants a Command-Return to run the application. So you need to change "r" to "xFEE9rFEE9" (no quotation marks).
Similar changes to the launch Keynote button, or any new one you add. (There is a page of keycodes at http://myallo.com/leptonic/airmote-help/action-codes/ .)
Other than that I like the app it everything else worked first time.
Works fine and does what I need it to. There area couple other programs that are similar, but this one does what I want (contacts, events from Entourage, weather, though it does more).
Seems to work flawlessly. I was a little confused about dowloading and exporting vs. syncing, but that is straighten out.
Just sent in my shareware payment.

Different people may find different ways of doing things that work best for them. I find DockExtender works best for me (and I've tried a number of them).
I still do keep an applications folder in the dock, and I'm trying F10 (to supplement, not replace), but for my most often used programs, DockExtender works quickly and easily.
I have recommended it to others.
