NOTE: Although it is says this app is "Free"...it is actually a DEMO for a COMMERCIAL app.
"Tunesify Lite will create 30 second previews of audio files that are only supported by the full version of Tunesify."
Don't try to actually use this for anything other than to see if you want to buy the commercial app. I give it a poor overall rating because this is misleading, a poor Features rating because it is crippled, and a poor Value rating because I wasted my time trying to accomplish the task, "convert a flac file to mp3".
MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard... no problems whatsoever. Drag, drop, enter new filename (copy and paste path from dropped file), tada.... took about 60 seconds for a 27mb mov file to convert to mp4. Thanks Dev!
1. Install widget
2. Play song
3. Hit F12
4. Click mouse to beat 10-15 times
5. Click 'Set'
6. Notice iTunes now has updated BPM column.
Simple pimple....to automate this process instead of doing it manually is the next best thing. Maybe I would prefer to hit the space bar instead of the mouse button but, meh, it works.
i don't see fifteen dollars and eighty nine cents worth of value here. this app is like a sports car with no wheels, looks great but you ain't goin no wheres. i have only been using this app at work and at home, at first i could actually download a torrent...now (in either place) i get the download ETA of 'many days' on everything.
Although it tries, xtorrent apparently doesn't do 'everything'... not for me thanks. Going to try 'Transmission' like previous poster.
