I got it finally working after I got the new version from the developers new webpage. It must be the easiest DVD ripper on the Mac. I just tried on two DVDs but it was fast and extremely easy to use. Fantastic app.

I bought my version of RipIt with the MacPromo bundle at the end of May and when I tried it for the first time it crashed while ripping. I had very limited disk space so it might have been that. Since then I upgraded my HD and there have been a few updates so I tried it again. When I try to use the built in update it says that an error occured and when trying to Rip a DVD it says that the Demo period has expired. I bought this version and now it says it has expired. I am disappointed and it's hard to rate and recommend this to anyone as it has never worked for me.
