Don't be put off by the above review - it's actually incorrect in some important regards. GPSRouteX works with anything that GPSd supports - including serial, USB and Bluetooth GPS receivers. It is correct that you need to install GPSd before you can run GPSRouteX... but that's very easy to do: gpsdX comes with an installer and a GUI config utility that takes care of all the heavy lifting. Best of all, gpsdX is free!
