Camino

renesis reviewed on 20 Jun 2008
Wow, I just tried Camino basically for the hell of it (well after I didn't like FF3 too much) and I am really glad that I did.

Beside the fact that it looks a whole lot livelier than Safari, it has a lot more features that Safari should have. My two favorite are the download box closes after its finished downloading, and built-in ad blocking.

Also, another touch that I like is it allows you to override the website font, with your own custom font, making reading much more enjoyable and nicer looking for me.

My only gripe is that hideous icon.

5 Stars in every category so far, I may update this review down the road. Time to check out what goodies pimpmycamino.com has for me.

Love this app, nice and simple. I only wish it didn't hide when clicking outside the application window.
Thanks for this!!

xPad

renesis reviewed on 12 Feb 2008
I take a lot of quick notes, I have bad memory, and I'm a neat freak. xPad to the rescue. xPad saves me the clutter of multiple text files, stores them all in one place, and allows me to access them quickly and easily. Apple should pay this guy and incorporate it in future os x releases.

Xslimmer

renesis reviewed on 12 Feb 2008
I found out about Application slimming apps, after users were complaining about disk space on the MBA. So I googled the recommended Xslimmer, and users were also reporting that their applications were opening up faster, so I had to give it a try. I am glad I did, it has a nice UI, lots of options, some apps got a speed boost, and it lets you know what apps are blacklisted. Overall I give it 5 stars.
