I highly recommend this newsreader! It is without a doubt the finest free newsreader I have tried.
While it does not have quite as many features as some of the paid newsreaders like NetNewsWire, it has a few more features than the stripped-down NetNewsWire Light. Unlike NetNewsWire Lite, however, it is open source and frequently updated. I predict that it will soon be competitive with the paid version.
I've relied on it heavily for several months now to read about 40 feeds, and I have had fewer crashes in Vienna than I have in any of my web browsers. The most persistent problem it has given me is that the titles on some feeds are improperly rendered. This only happens with one of my feeds, and I suspect that it is due to improper formatting on the feed maintainer's part. Still, NNW Lite is able to display them properly.
