Terrific utility! It works as advertised and adds all kinds of searchable information to emails. I checked their website for a Lion-compatible version, and their new beta is working quite well also, with a slightly different interface
Ecamm nails it every time (I won several of their apps), and Printopia is not exception. It just plain works with no set-up required. Provides several options and never found a glitch.
I had been using both ShoveBox and Evernote, debating the pros and cons of each. However, while Evernote continued to advance, the developers apparently gave up on ShoveBox, and that's a shame. Some things it did better than Evernote (and still does), but I would not invest my time, energy, or data into software that appears to be abandoned.
I am awestruck by this company that keeps producing all these succulent little ditties. When downloading the registered version of this application, I realized that I've purchased a half dozen or so of their apps over time. What's amazing (or maybe not) is that they create applications that are unique, functional, intuitive, and needed… and they never mimic anyone else. They seem to be in a class by themselves.
That being said, Printopia is just the latest in their ongoing success story. It does what it says "right out of the box," is easy to use, intuitive, and very reasonably priced. Keep up the good work, Ecamm!
When you think it's as good as it gets, it gets better. A brilliant update (4.1), I just plug in my flash drive, walk away, eject my flash drive after a minute or two, and I'm good to go with a reliable backup. Of course, there is much more, but this is merely the latest in innovation from an excellent software developer with excellent software. It's practically flawless (I do not know what the flaws, if any, might be).
Not splitting track appropriately. I get the first track cut short, folled by the second track with parts of the first. This totally negates any possibility of recording without splicing using additional software. This is not acceptable.
I am thoroughly impressed. I've gone through a plethora of different clipboard utilities, including: Clipboard Evolved, ClipMenu, Clips, iClip, Jumpcut, Stuf, and PTHClipboard. iClipboard has the features I want in an intuitive, well designed, and attractive interface. There are many customizing options to choose from, but they are not overwhelming, and there is no bloat. There is plenty for keyboard enthusiasts or those who prefer mousing around (I am the latter). I had not used iClipboard 3.0 for more than 10 or 15 minutes before hitting the purchase button, and there is no buyer's remorse, just pure delight.
Don't know what it is but I got stuttering on my iMac 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo with 4 GB RAM, and I'm still getting it on my new iMac 2.8 GHz i7 with 8 GB RAM. It doesn't matter whether I'm recording or playing back, and it's absolutely frustrating.
