Still not working with Lion. The developer is working on a 1.1 version, which many of us seem to be keen for. Hopefully it comes out soon because I'm having trouble finding an app that will do this with Lion!
I am replying to myself because after fiddling with this and others for a couple of hours I've gotten it to work with two computers running Lion!!!
The trick is starting them both and then on the computer you want to share with your main computer you need to select "share this mac" from the menu bar, NOT within the preference pane. For some reason toggling the preference pane button doesn't make it work.
Hmmm, I agree with the last poster. I'm not sure how you can fault this little preference pane addition. It does what it claims to smoothly and unobtrusively! It is much faster than opening up iCal or even flipping to Mail and clicking on the "new to-do" or "note" buttons. I love that you can hit your designated hot-key twice to toggle between adding a new to-do or a new event.
Thanks to the developer, keep up the superb work :)
Finally a lyrics widget that works! I created a macupdate account just to leave my first review because I was amazed at how much this has improved.
I'm not sure what was done on this latest release but it is a night and day difference compared with the version I used 6 or 7 months ago.
I started with Harmonic, and it worked but never that well. Then I switched to Pearlyrics which was marginally better, but still unimpressive.
Today I decided to check if Harmonic had improved and I was surprised to see that lyrics were found and updated in iTunes within the first few seconds of the song! It is now very fast and much more accurate; able to pick up lyrics for many live songs as well. Hats off to the developer.
The one feature I liked of Pearlyrics that Harmonic lacks is the ability to delay the input of lyrics into the song data so that there isn't the common slight pause of the song at the beginning of the track. If it also had a feature to add lyrics to the whole library without having to play each song this widget would be godly.
