This is a very good idea.

But it costs me money to send email from my phone. I have free unlimited internet on my cell phone. It'd be nice to be able to connect to this program via the internet.

I just downloaded this yesterday. I tried to download a 600 MB file. When I went to bed it was 80% downloaded and had less than an hour left. When I woke up it had started over and was at 3%.

Audio Hijack

This program doesn't work with "Hold On".

Does anybody know of a program I can use to record my phone calls through the computer's modem?

Hold On plays the sound out the speaker, but Audio Hijack doesn't recognize that any sound is coming from the program. I haven't tried Audio Hijack Pro yet, maybe that will work.

Chicken of the VNC

This is the error I get in Chicken of the VNC:
"Connection Terminated
The server closed the connection"

But I can still connect with Apple's Remote Desktop. After I restart the computer, I can connect with Chicken again.

This is a great program, but I'm having a problem. I'm connecting to a Windows 98 computer running TightVNC. This doesn't happen very often, but every once in a while I get dissconnected and am unable to reconnect. I can still connect with Apple's "Remote Desktop", so I know this is a bug with "Chicken of the VNC". The only way I've been able to fix this is to connect with Remote Desktop and restart the computer, I can then connect with Chicken.

This is a great program. Works just the way it should. The only thing I think it needs is a way to change the default bit rate for better quality encodings.

No Frills DVD2iPod

Try DVD2Pod, it is better than this program. It is a lot faster. It outputs widescreen DVDs correctly. The movie is saved as one file, this programs saves movies as multiple files. DVD2Pod just does regular mpeg 4 though, not h264 like this program. DVD2Pod also works with encrypted DVDs.

I just tried DVD2Pod. It seems to work, the sound and video were lined up correctly. It was also very fast. But the video was a little lesser quality than when I converted divx avi's with Quicktime.
