This is an absolutely flawless application. It does what it is designed to do better than any application on my computer (I have hundreds). PNG files from my Web site designer get reduced by up to 80% without any discernible loss in quality! ImageOptim is glorious in its simplicity and ease of use. It's drag-and-drop heaven!

Absolutely fantastic script! It enabled me to instantly create 706 folders from a list of 706 domain names that I provided. Now I have a unique backup folder for each one of my 706 domains. What a time-saver!

Great text editor. HOWEVER, when I change the color of some text in a document, the document itself erroneously disappears! To make things worse, when I go to the "FILE --> OPEN RECENT" menu to re-open the file, the "Show Colors" popup (containing all of the little squares of different colors) still appears and will not go away. Other functions do not work properly at that point, either. I have contacted the developer and hope that this problem gets fixed.

I absolutely LOVE 1Password.

That said . . . .

What happened to the ability to have the 1Password icon in the system menu bar? Also, I no longer seem to to have the option to automatically populate the username when auto-saving logins. Please tell me that these things will be returning, as their absence has made 1Password basically useless to me.

Why are you now included this separate .dmg with automatic A-Dock updates via the "MacUpdate Desktop" application?! I don't want or need this puzzle app installed every time I update A-Dock.

Developer, I have a HUGE feature request that I think will be quite helpful to many users. There is (was) an add-on called "Twicetab" (see "Twicetab 1.3.1.1" here at macupdate), but it doesn't work on Safari 4 or 5. One of the optional features of TwiceTab that I desperately miss is the ability to make a URL (or domain name) in my clipboard open in a new tab. For instance, if I copy the text "http://www.google.com" or "google.com" and then double-click on an empty space in the Bookmarks Bar, it will open the Google home page in that new tab. However, if there is no URL or domain name at the top of my clipboard, the double-click action in the Bookmarks Bar will perform the user's default preference (home page, blank window, etc.) for a new tab. Please advise.

Unfortunately, 1.8 is crashing Safari:

Version 5.0.7 has some bugs. Namely, I get the beachball of death during any update. Deleting the "macupdate" folder, as instructed by Macupdate Support, did not help.

Why are roughly half of my apps suddenly grayed-out, reading "No information available"? GraphicConverter has no information available? iChat? iTunes? Omniweb? I seriously doubt that.

I'd been using MacUpdate Desktop 5.0.4.for quite some time, with no problems.

I paid a couple of months ago. After installing the recent security update from Apple, the screen saver no longer works. A black screen appears, with a message stating that "Marine Aquarium 3 does not work with this version of Mac OS X." I need a working version for the latest version of OS x 10.6.2!

I've noticed that when I "hide" MacUpdate Desktop or collapse it to the dock while it is performing an operation (checking for updates, installing, etc.), the operation freezes and I have to start the operation over.
