The reason "Mr Raddle" why I don't need to say any more is because everyone else has said it for me, Skype 5 stinks! That's not just my opinion but the views of a lot of Skype users and my comment about it being the only app that is not up to date on my Mac is because everything else is current, I enjoy being an 'early adopter' but not if it's to the detriment of my workflow or user experience and that' s why I have downgraded to v2.8.
This whole scenario reminds me of Microsoft and all the shenanigans they went through shifting from XP to Vista although I know Skype was bloated before M$ took it over. If Apple could only release FaceTime on the Windows platform we might see Skype lose some of their stranglehold on this sector of the market.
I've been using RW for about two years now and I love it. It offers me just the right combination of design and creative functionality without needing to have a diploma in code. If anyone is having trouble getting to grips with it, just go to the forums and source your answers, get some decent themes like NCD Themes and transform the app with Stacks and Blocks you'll be well away.
As for v5 my only gripe I have is that you can't save it back to v4 if you are having stability issues but I'm sure RM will fix that. It's still a great app, far more flexible than iWeb and far easier than Dreamweaver. Maybe there is a better solution out there but I've yet to find it and for me RW makes building websites a joy rather than a chore.
Whenever I put a new OS on my Mac this app is always the first go on. Without KM, my Mac feels like someone else's computer, my productivity is working at 50% capacity. The support from Peter is also as good as the product. I emailed with a query and had the answer by the morning, and a comprehensive one at that.
Keep up the good work, this was and always will be a 5 star application.
