FretPet

This is a superb programme for anyone interested in the guitar. It is astonishingly flexible, with a depth of features and a wealth of possibilities that is quite unique. As if that weren't enough, the developer is the most responsive and helpful one I've ever encountered. Highly recommended.

Apple Security Update
Porpentine commented on 02 Jun 2011
This update seems to have killed Rosetta stone dead. This means I can no longer use Photoshop CS, among other things which is important as some really good plugins don't work with later versions of PS. (I heard the rumour that Apple were going to kill off Rosetta in Lion anyway. Is this a pre-emptive strike?)
Anyone else had this problem? Is there a solution?

My comment referred to update 2011-03. As it happens it was a conflict which was specific only to my system. An Ittec file it seems.
But yes Lion kills Rosetta and that's why I'm not upgrading for the moment.

It's not often that fairness prevails so quickly. Many thanks to all at MU for their efforts to sort out the bundle/upgrade fee mess and to Lemke for seeing sense. Honour is restored and goodwill reinstated. Well done.

The main reason I bought the MUPromo bundle was because I thought a GC upgrade fee was imminent. It never occurred to me that we'd have to pay again within days of shelling out for the bundle. That really stinks. It's unethical and risks destoying all the goodwill both MU and GC have built up.
Great programme, contemptible business.
