Very, very cool it's what I was hoping some one would come out with and works independently from any other application which is just what the doctor ordered! There was another application that was out there but it was not compatible Tiger which as far that I'm convinced that was the last Apple operating system that was made specifically for folks still using Power PC's, so thanks a million for making this application available specially for free, it's totally awesome!
Yes I think think this one fits very well with a lot of the other apps from Limit Point Software they are small but when you get used to using some them, it's hard to see what my workflow would be without them. They're some real gems and I love how they're transaction policy works for obtaining a permanent license number that works forever and for all new apps they release, best frigin deal in town! Check it out on their website, it leaves it up to the individual and their economic situation or your belief on what they're worth to you. Of course if you find them indispensable you can always donate again. So GREAT job Limit Point, thanks for keeping things real.
Great piece of application, a definite recommendation to anyone that needs an excellent sound editor with out having to pay a lot. The developers are great unlike others they have a very generous license policy and aren't asking for an upgrade price every year, and have been developing Mac applications for quite a long time and the interface is very intuitive, the way a mac application should be, cu-does.
Horrible, horrible, horrible, I think this guy is just out to make money anyway he can! I bought this last year and had a heck of a time registring this application then, when I bought this it was for leopard even though he update it for Tiger also so it shouldn't matter which version I was using, Well, it still is a mess to register and it's impossible to download a working version of the application. The way he has this set up everytime I try to get the version for Tiger his site gives me a error message that says try the registration window. Well that does not work either and I've tried to contact him about the problem but three times I've written without a response. So even though I've bought a license I am going to have to de-install the application because I can't get support of any kind.
Thanks to the developer for constantly improving ChocoFlop, specially for continuing support for PPC, which some of us continue to use. I find that the developer from the beginning has worked at adding features and squashing bugs, and as far as I know that's what the development of an applications suppose to be in the beta stage which it is in.
Why does this developer give such erroneous information about where to get a copy of Descent 2 where all I've gotten of the suggestions is strike outs. I own Descent for OS9 but that wont work and the one that you could get from MacUpdate D2X, is no longer available and I don't even know if that would work.
Don't you get a feeling that some developers out there think that their applications are something really great that they have created, very special in fact so special that they can't understand how the world has gotten along without it all this time. I think if I was a small developer I would sure want my client base to feel that their business is important to me and it is appreciated. I sure would not alienate them by trying to squeeze more money out of them, specially in these hard economic times. Just a thought! Anyway its theirs to do and market as they see fit.
