This is the most impressive 3D modelling software written in Java I have ever seen, especially when it is 100% free!
Rendering is a slow process, but you can get quite good-looking and realistic results.
I would recommend Aoi for hobbyists and those who want to experiment with 3D scenes and modelling. The Art of Illusion's website has a nice tutorial that tells you step by step how to create a realistic hourglass, perfect for those who have never been creating 3D graphics before, or those who just want to look at the apps features!
Namely is very small and looks very nice, and found my apps/games on my other hard drives with no problems.
The bad part is that it lays in the dock all the time (I like to have the Dock as clean as possible and use an application launcher to launch my applications).
Well, the overall: it's a very good application launcher! Keep up the great work!
Nice! I like this one much better than PythonIDE, which lacks color syntax. I can't find any gui debug options in MakeBot, but I guess that's ok for a newbie like me!
Since the MakeBot has a very friendly user interface (like one-click on a button to run your program), I recommend it to everyone who are similar to me, those who are learning Python.
