This great little utility has turned my otherwise useless beige 8550/G3 250 into a great little server (it's plenty fast too as long as I don't log in to the GUI).
The software is well supported and regularly updated.
While Macupdate lists it as "Free", in fact users are encouraged to pay $10 as a shareware fee. Well worth it. Way to go Ryan!
A replacement for MacFlow under OSX was my last missing peice to keep me out of classic. OmniGraffle is very intuitive, very OSX. Great for building ER charts and network topography charts.
I have used the unregistered version to send two faxes and it worked great. I don't need to be able to receive faxes tho. You can't beat the price (especially as compared to FaxSTF -- which crashes all the time). You can tell it is still in development but I registered to encourage the author... Go Ben go. As for Danny's comment about 'fishiness', I'll just say that the space required for installation is not the same as the amount of space consumed by the installed application. Yeah, it's not as small as the tiny download would indicacate but there is nothing fishy about it.
growliChat
Notifications fire endlessly and opening the Growlichat Pref Pane crashes system Preferences.
Am going to try Chax, as recommended elsewhere:

OmniGraffle
FaxCenter
PowerLogix CacheControl X
I am running OSX on an old 8550 with a Newer G3/250 upgrade card enabled through XPostFacto.
I was psyched that this worked at all whatever the speed.
Installing CacheControl X has re-enbled the 512KB cache on the upgrade card and the machine is soooo much more responsive.
My only wish is for improved documentation.

Mac No-IP X
I opened a trouble ticket with the folks at no-ip.com and they stated that the are not substantial differences between 3.1.1 and 3.1.2.
The new version number is because they are using a different installed in 3.1.2
Users of 3.1.1 need not (and likely cannot) update to 3.1.2
